Energy Report Puts Colorado First in LEED Ranking

(Denver Business Journal)

Colorado ranks first in LEED-certified building square footage per capita, according to the annual Resource Rich Colorado report released Thursday by the Colorado Energy Coalition (CEC), which is an affiliate of the Metro Denver Economic Development Corp.

The report measures Colorado’s competitive position in oil, natural gas, coal, renewable energy and sustainability.

The fourth edition of the report compares Colorado to all states, “based on the availability of natural resources for energy generation, energy policies and programs, and applicable intellectual resources crucial to the energy industry,” the CEC said.
