Gov. Inslee Presents Plan for Creating Clean-Energy Jobs

(Puget Sound Business Journal)

Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee on Wednesday proposed initiatives in five focus areas to help revitalize the state’s economy and create new jobs, including clean energy and water.

Pointing out that Washington spends more than $20 billion annually on energy, Inslee discussed an energy agenda that includes investments in electric vehicles and biofuels. He wants to support businesses willing to develop technologies that produce and consume clean energy — creating jobs and reducing costs along the way.
