As one of the world's leading environmental economists, Robert Repetto has spent decades thinking about how to address the threat of global climate change.

Now, in his new book, America's Climate Problem: The Way Forward, Repetto has given the U.S. a plan of action to lead a concerted worldwide effort to reduce emissions before it's too late.

In this podcast, Jason Mark speaks with Repetto about America's unique global warming challenge; what he describes as his disappointment with Pres. Obama; the practicality of a national energy transformation; and the ongoing "China-bashing" in Congress that keeps the country from moving forward.
