NECN Politics

One company paying very close attention to Tuesday’s presidential election is TransCanada.
They're the ones proposing the controversial Keystone XL Pipeline, which would carry crude oil from Canada to the Texas coast.
The Obama administration turned the original proposal down, while Mitt Romney says he'd approve it -- so it's no surprise that the president of energy and pipelines at TransCanada, Alexander Pourbaix, would prefer a Romney victory on Tuesday.

Mike Nikitas sat down with Pourbaix on Monday’s edition of NECN Business to talk about Keystone, plus another proposal that would affect New England.
