Facing paralysis in Washington and abroad, Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking the threat of climate change into his own hands.

Fresh off two terms as governor of California and a book tour that featured a series of high-profile interviews about his marital infidelity, Schwarzenegger is redoubling his focus on the environment.

He has immersed himself in work on R20 Regions of Climate Action, a nonprofit he helped start in 2010 that works closely with the United Nations to implement and help finance green projects in states and provinces around the world.
