Terminating Climate Change

Facing paralysis in Washington and abroad, Arnold Schwarzenegger is taking the threat of climate change into his own hands.

Fresh off two terms as governor of California and a book tour that featured a series of high-profile interviews about his marital infidelity, Schwarzenegger is redoubling his focus on the environment.

He has immersed himself in work on R20 Regions of Climate Action, a nonprofit he helped start in 2010 that works closely with the United Nations to implement and help finance green projects in states and provinces around the world.
