Grinch Takes Anti-Keystone XL Message to Nebraska Governor

Dec 26, 2012
(Lincoln Journal Star)

On the day before Christmas, the Grinch showed up outside the governor's house to urge him not to be "a mean one" by allowing the proposed Keystone XL pipeline to travel over the Ogallala Aquifer.

The Grinch was joined Monday by Cindy Lou Who of Dr. Seuss fame and a small group of other pipeline route opponents at a frigid gathering near the gate of the Governor's residence to send a message to Gov. Dave Heineman to reject TransCanada's proposed new pipeline route through Nebraska.

Heineman needs to "honor his own words" and deny state approval for the revised pipeline route because it continues to travel across the aquifer, Ben Gotschall said.
