(Climate Central)

Following on the heels of President Barack Obama’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday night where he challenged Congress to enact policies to fight climate change, the Environment and Public Works Committee held a briefing on Wednesday to address the latest findings in climate science research.

The briefing, chaired by Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), featured four of the nation’s leading climate scientists, who talked about the latest trends and scientific evidence related to the growing impacts associated with climate change.
