Copenhagen: Day 6

Outside the climate talks, tens of thousands of protesters filled the streets on Saturday, calling for action.

But as Day 6 of the international climate talks wrapped up, representatives of Oxfam, WWF and NWF saw more promises not kept by negotiators inside and a lack of money offered by wealthy countries.

“As it stands right now, we are about to break the promise to avoid dangerous global warming," said Hans Verolme of NWF.

The Climate Action Network, a global group of about 500 non-governmental organizations promoting worldwide action to limit climate change, offers a video overview of the day’s events:
