N.C. Regulators Say Trump’s Proposed Repeal of the Endangerment Finding Would Increase ‘Criteria’ Air Pollutants
The endangerment finding allows the EPA to regulate greenhouse gases—the primary cause of climate change—under the Clean Air Act. If the finding is repealed, Charlotte’s annual air pollution could increase by as much as 940 tons.
